Finally......
And so this is it. those bars on my shoulders are heavy.
Just before the parade, we were all listening to "Wake me up when september ends", somehow we're all very attached to that song, the reason unknown. But as the song went on playing, pictures of the past 9 months kept flashing in my small little mind......and there's such a sense of sadness within me. That feeling was tremendous and so real...... i've come to realise that it's going to be the very last time that we're going to do something together as a platoon, as a wing. I could feel the tears flowing.
Joy was there when we tossed our peak caps into the sky. And that's the end of our journey as a cadet. A new chapter begins from then on.
Such is a day that i'll never forget. And no doubt it's the happiest day of my life.
